National Voluntary Blood Donation Day

National Voluntary Blood Donation was first observed on 1st October 1975, under the initiation of ISBTI (Indian Society of Blood Transfusion and Immunohaematology). IMA Blood Bank of Uttarakhand organizes a cultural program on this day by the name of "Give me Red"

World AIDS Day

World AIDS Day was first observed on 1 December 1988 to spread awareness of AIDS pandemic.  IMA Blood Bank of Uttarakhand organizes 'Walk for Blood' to observe World AIDS Day.
