Blood Donor Insurance Policy

(Applicable after 15 days of blood donation)

Policy 1:  “Donor who has donated blood voluntarily 1 to 4 times at IMA Blood Bank of Uttarakhand or at camps organized by IMA Blood Bank of Uttarakhand,would be able to avail refund (Basic Charge) for as many units as donated,for self and family members (Mother,Father,Husband/Wife,Child,Unmarried Brother &Unmarried Sister) subject to documented proof.Each donated unit is insured under the policy for a period of one year.”

Policy 2:  “Donor who has donated blood voluntarily 5 times or more,would be able to avail refund (Basic Charge) for one unit for each multiple of 5 donations,for any relative or friend.Each donated unit is insured under the policy for a period of two years.Policy 1 is still applicable.”

(The time period for refund against Donor Policy will be 7 days for local & 10 days for outstation patients / attendants.)

IMA Blood Bank of Uttarakhand is bound to fulfil the entire commitments. However, this is subject to availability of components at that point of time. IMA Blood Bank of Uttarakhand also reserves the rights to modify these offers at any given time. The decisions of the Managing Director/Director Technical & Operations are final in this regards.
